ENDODONTIC

Endodontic therapy involves the partial removal (pulpotomy in primary teeth) or total removal of the dental pulp (nerve-artery-vein) in permanent teeth. It applies in fractured teeth with deep cavities or injured in their pulp tissue (connective tissue) in which a given characteristic symptoms of inflammation of the pulp. This is irreversible and the only treatment option is the complete removal of the dental pulp, and three-dimensional obturation of mandibular canal. Total biopulpectomías are also performed on teeth for prosthetic purposes.
